Frequently Asked Questions
Will my solar system still work if the power grid goes down (a blackout)?
During a blackout, a standard grid-tied solar system will automatically shut off to protect utility workers. If you want your system to keep running during outages, you’ll need to add a battery storage system, which allows you to store energy and use it when the grid is down.
Will solar cover all my electricity?
It can cover most of it during daytime, but usually not 100% unless the system is large or comes with a battery.
Why am I still using power from the electric grid?
Solar power may not be enough at some points (cloudy, high usage, or night time), so the electric grid supports the rest.
Are the panels durable enough to withstand extreme weather?
Yes. Our panels have undergone extensive testing and certification to withstand harsh environments.
Are there any government incentives or tax credits available?
Yes. It is called the Net Metering Program. The excess electricity generated by your solar panels and exported back to the power grid is converted into credit on your next monthly electric bill.
What is 'Net Metering' and how does it work with my utility bill?
Net metering is a billing mechanism that credits solar owners for the electricity they feed back into the grid. When your panels produce more than you use, your meter spins backward, generating a credit. You only pay the "net" difference, or simply pay a small, fixed grid connection fee, often zeroing out your energy charges.
How can I ensure I have power during a prolonged outage or a severe storm/calamity?
To keep your power on during extended outages or severe storms, you’ll need a solar system with battery storage. The battery stores excess energy generated during the day so you can use it when the grid is down. It also automatically disconnects your home from the grid during a blackout, allowing your system to run independently. This setup can power essential appliances like lights, refrigerators, Wi-Fi, and medical equipment, giving you reliable backup when you need it most.

How much does it cost?
Cost depends on the size of the system your property needs. Your final price will vary based on your energy usage and property setup. Larger systems cost more upfront but generate more power and savings over time. Pricing also reflects the use of high-quality, Tier 1 components designed for durability and long-term performance. All systems include warranties of up to 20 years and ongoing support to ensure a reliable return on your investment.
How many solar panels do I need?
It depends on your monthly bill and roof space. More consumption = more panels needed. Try our Solar Calculator here to get an estimated number of panels based on your monthly bill. For a more accurate assessment, contact us directly.
How much money will I save, and how quickly will I see a return on investment (ROI)?
Your savings begin immediately by reducing and even eliminating your monthly electric bill. The typical ROI period is 4 to 6 years. We will provide a detailed, customized savings report that clearly projects your lifetime savings and the precise point when the system pays for itself.
What is the required maintenance, and how often will I need repairs?
Solar systems are made to require minimal maintenance. They are designed to endure severe weather conditions and have no moving parts. Typically, routine maintenance consists of a check-up every few years and an occasional cleaning (which is usually taken care of by rain). Maximum dependability is guaranteed by our premium components.
What kind of warranties do you offer on the panels and the installation?
20-Years Manufacturers Warranty for our Solar Panels
5-Years Manufacturers Warranty for our Batteries
3-Years Manufacturers Warranty for our Inverters
What happens if I need a new roof after the panels are installed?
If your roof needs repair or replacement after installation, we can safely remove and reinstall your solar system. This service is handled by our team to ensure your system remains protected and your warranty stays valid. We’ll provide a clear, upfront quote before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
How can I monitor my system's performance and ensure it's working efficiently?
A dedicated mobile and web monitoring platform is included with every system. This lets you monitor your production, energy use, and savings in real time from any location in the world. We also remotely monitor your system, and if we find any problems, we'll let you know right away.
